WITHIN TEMPTATION Guitarist To Sit Out Mexican, South American Dates
April 3, 2008Dutch female-fronted symphonic metallers WITHIN TEMPTATION have issued the following update:
"Unfortunately, we have to inform you that Robert [Westerholt, guitar] won't be able to go on the South American tour. The reason is that we haven't been able to find a proper babysitter for the duration of the tour [WITHIN TEMPTATION vocalist Sharon den Adel and Westerholt have a two-year-old daughter named Luna Ed.] and that we are also unable to take Luna with us on this tour. We have tried until the last moment to find a solution but despite the fact that we always found one in the past, this time we couldn't. However, the rest of the band will make sure you won't miss a thing, 'cause they will play songs that will rock your ass twice as heard and will make sure this first South American tour will be a memorable one!!!"
WITHIN TEMPTATION's Mexican and South American tour dates:
April 03 - Mexico City, Mexico - Circo Volador
April 04 - Monterrey, Mexico - Cafe Iguana
April 05 - Guadalajara, Mexico - Teatro Cavaret

Markus Rutten of Sounds2Move.de recently uploaded a number of photos from WITHIN TEMPTATION's sold-out Black Symphony concert on February 7, 2008 at Ahoy in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Check them out at this location.
Black Symphony was a unique concert featuring WITHIN TEMPTATION backed by the 60-piece Metropole Orchestra and a 35-voice classical choir in a spectacular stage setting, including Europe's largest video screen (400 sqm),and spiced up by stunning pyrotechnic and light displays. Support at the gig came from LIFE OF AGONY frontman Keith Caputo, who also joined the headliners for a rendition of the song "What Have You Done?"
