WITHIN TEMPTATION: New Album To Include 'Opendisc' Technology

According to Roadrunner Records U.K., the forthcoming WITHIN TEMPTATION album, "The Heart of Everything", will include an "Opendisc" function — the technology that allows you to buy the CD and get bonus content. Initial copies of the album will be available with a signed CD insert through selected indie stores. More information will be made available soon.

As previously reported, WITHIN TEMPTATION will be IRON MAIDEN frontman Bruce Dickinson's guests on Saturday, March 17 during Bruce's weekly BBC 6 Music radio show, aptly named "Rock Show". Listen to the program live via the Internet between 9:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m. (midnight) U.K. time (between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. EST) at BBC.co.uk.

WITHIN TEMPTATION has posted a brand new (completely different) version of the video for its new single, "What Have You Done", at this location. The clip features a guest appearance by Keith Caputo of LIFE OF AGONY.

WITHIN TEMPTATION released the "What Have You Done" single in Germany on February 16 via G.U.N. Records.

"The Heart of Everything" is due later in the year via Roadrunner Records. Check out the CD cover artwork at this location. The band recently spent time in a Stockholm studio mixing with Stefan Glaumann, known for his work with RAMMSTEIN.

WITHIN TEMPTATION was recently awarded the Dutch Export Prize (Buma Cultuur Exportprijs 2006) for the fourth time in a row. The Export Prize is an annual award that is given out by Buma Cultuur to the Dutch artist who has sold the most records/DVDs abroad.
