WITHIN TEMPTATION Pulls Out Of Israel's ANTHEM METAL FESTIVAL
May 9, 2008Dutch female-fronted symphonic metallers WITHIN TEMPTATION have issued the following update:
"Due to scheduling conflicts that include promotional activities for our new DVD, we are very sorry to tell you that we have to move our show in Tel Aviv that was previously scheduled on August 14th. We are now scheduled to play in Tel Aviv on October 12th. The Anthem Metal Festival on August 14th will still go ahead with other great bands such as OPETH, THE HAUNTED, DARK TRANQUILLITY, and an extra headliner, so it'll still be a festival not to be missed!"
WITHIN TEMPTATION's forthcoming DVD will feature footage shot on February 7, 2008 at the Black Symphony event at Ahoy in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
Black Symphony was a unique concert featuring WITHIN TEMPTATION backed by the 60-piece Metropole Orchestra and a 35-voice classical choir in a spectacular stage setting, backed by Europe's largest video screen (400 sqm) and spiced-up by stunning pyrotechnic and light displays.
Support at the gig came from LIFE OF AGONY frontman Keith Caputo, who also joined the headliners for a rendition of the song "What Have You Done?"
