WOLF: 'Hail Cesar' Video Released

April 1, 2010

"Hail Cesar", the new video from Swedish heavy metallers WOLF, can be viewed below.

Commented guitarist Johannes "Axeman" Losbäck: "When approached by Morningstar Film Production to shoot a video for 'Hail Cesar', we were thrilled since we've never worked with them before. They had similar ideas as we did for a video since we wanted a 'down-to-earth' heavy metal video. No fancy stuff, just a lotta Flying Vs and headbanging.

"We decided to let Morningstar follow us from load-in 'till doors close. And where better to capture the insanity of a WOLF gig than in Gothenburg, Sweden at the Belsepub on our 'Ravenous' tour?

"All said and done!

"We give you a video with us, our fans, beer, guitars, tattoos, sweat and the works. We wanted the intense feeling of a club gig and we wanted to make it feel like 'you're there.' We threw in a few clips from a movie as well, just to give it an artistic feel... but truth said... we just wanted the headbanging, right?

"Working on a video including live clips make you wanna play live even more, so we're very excited to unleash this live fury on the upcoming gigs at the Rock Hard in Germany and also, for the first time for WOLF, in Malaysia at the Kuala Lumpur fest!

"So enjoy... we goddamn did... and still do!"

WOLF's latest album, "Ravenous", was released in North America on March 24, 2009 via Century Media Records. The CD features a guest guitar solo by Hank Shermann (FORCE OF EVIL, MERCYFUL FATE) and guest vocals by Mark Boals (YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, ROYAL HUNT). For the fierce and bloody artwork, the band once again decided to work with its longtime cover artist Thomas Holm (MERCYFUL FATE). Topped off by the phenomenal production by Roy Z (BRUCE DICKINSON, JUDAS PRIEST),"Ravenous" promises "a heavy metal delicacy par excellence!"
