WOLF: New Album Release Date Announced

November 21, 2008

Swedish heavy metallers WOLF will release their fifth album, "Ravenous", on February 23, 2009 via Century Media Records. The CD was recorded at Studio Seven in Örebro, Sweden with producer Roy Z, who has previously worked with JUDAS PRIEST, SEBASTIAN BACH, HALFORD, HELLOWEEN and BRUCE DICKINSON, among others.

Commented guitarist Johannes "Axeman" Losbäck: "'Ravenous' will grab you by the throat and it will not let go until you succumb. Our time is NOW and we're taking each and everyone with us. We can't wait to tour for this album and unleash the new songs upon the metal community!"

A bunch of new photos from the recording studio have been posted in the "Pics" section on the band's MySpace page (free registration may be required to view pictures).

Fan-filmed video footage of WOLF's November 9, 2008 performance at Mario's Metal Meeting in Tilburg, Netherlands can be viewed below.
