WOLF To Open For TRIVIUM In Malmö
August 8, 2008Swedish heavy metallers WOLF will open for TRIVIUM on November 22 at KB in Malmö, Sweden.
The group's schedule is now shaping up as follows:
Aug. 30 - Gruvan GG - Uddevalla/Sweden
Oct. 18 - Siddharta Club - Prato, Italy
Nov. 22 - KB - Malmö, Sweden (w/ TRIVIUM)
Nov. 29 - Metal Forces Fest - Lörrach, Germany
A five-and-a-half-minute video clip featuring footage from WOLF's June 26, 2008 performance at the Peace & Love festival in Borlänge, Sweden can be viewed below. The clip, which was shot and edited by Patrik Hellström, contains the band's first live footage with new drummer Richard "Raptor" Holmgren.
WOLF is currently writing material for its new album, tentatively due later in the year. "We've come up with some killer tunes that will sure carry the name WOLF with pride," the group previously stated. "It's too early to reveal any details but we're excited to have started writing and trying out stuff at rehearsals. We're aiming on a summer recording session and details will follow soon."
WOLF last year announced the addition of bassist Anders "Tornado" Modd to the group's ranks.
The band's latest album, "The Black Flame", was recorded at Studio Fredman in Gothenburg, Sweden.
