WOLFMOTHER Is 'Honored' To Be Nominated For 'Hard Rock' GRAMMY
December 13, 2006WOLFMOTHER spoke to The West Australian about the band's nomination in the "Best Hard Rock Performance" category at the Grammy Awards, which will be held in Los Angeles in February.
"I think that means we are going to go to the circus of the Grammys which will be interesting," drummer Myles Heskett said.
"We will just be the little Aussie band that shows up and looks around. In America, we are little compared to all of the dudes that are going to be there."
WOLFMOTHER are up against some of their biggest idols at the Grammys, nominated in the same category as NINE INCH NAILS, SYSTEM OF A DOWN and TOOL.
"I was a huge TOOL fan back in the day, I saw them at Hordern Pavilion and Newcastle Uni," said Heskett.
"They're all amazing bands ... it is an honor to be up against all those guys."
