WYKKED WYTCH Guitarist To Appear At NAMM
January 2, 2009Guitarist Gio Geraca of Florida-based extreme metallers WYKKED WYTCH will represent Jackson Guitars at this year's NAMM (National Association Of Music Merchants) show, which is being held January 15-18 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California.
WYKKED WYTCH is currently demoing material for its fifth album, to be recorded in early 2009 for an early summer release. More details to follow.
The uncensored video inspired by WYKKED WYTCH's cover version of the EVANESCENCE smash hit "Bring Me To Life" can be viewed below. The track was recorded by Matt LaPlant (NONPOINT, SIKTH) and Gus Rios (MALEVOLENT CREATION) at Bieler Bros. Studios in Pompano Beach, Florida. Mixing and mastering was handled by Eric Rachel (ATREYU, THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN) at Trax East Studios in New Jersey.
WYKKED WYTCH's fourth album, "Memories of a Dying Whore", was released through the band's own label Perish Music.
According to a press release, "Memories of a Dying Whore" was remixed by Eric Rachel (THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, ATREYU, GOD FORBID) at Trax East Studios and was mastered by Alan Douches (UNEARTH, MASTODON, SHADOWS FALL) at West West Side Music in New York.
