X-PIRAL Parts Ways With Singer, Seeks Replacement
October 30, 2007Athens, Greece-based power metallers X-PIRAL have parted ways with singer Michael Apostolakis.
According to the band, "Michael was one of the three founding members of X-PIRAL, together with Nick and Dimitris, and had been the lead singer of the band ever since. He managed to record two full-length albums, 'Poison Eyes' (2005) and 'Hunters' (2007),with X-PIRAL and was completely dedicated to the band. Throughout those years Michael not only managed to give X-PIRAL the best and most valuable parts of his own existence but also became one of the dearest friends to the rest of the band, a person that all of us are very proud to know."
X-PIRAL is currently seeking a new vocalist. "We are not looking for a specific style but we want to listen to as many people as possible from high-pitched singers to middle tone ones and from clean/melodic ones to brutal so don't worry about your style," the band says.
"Before contacting us you have to keep in mind that we are searching for a fulltime singer, dedicated to the band, with respect to our rehearsal schedule (which will be fixed),that has good singing skills concerning his style and the attitude of a frontman.
"If you want to apply, give as a chance to hear your voice and get one step closer to become the new member of our family by contacting us via email at [email protected] or message us through our MySpace account at myspace.com/xpiral.
"Don't forget to include in your message some info (small bio, photo, location, contact info etc) about yourself and if possible some material or links to check out your performance skills. Soon after we receive your email/message we will contact you and inform you about the rest of the process."
X-PIRAL's second sudio album, "Hunters", was released in March 2007 through Greece's Burning Star Records.
