Y&T: Albums From 1990s To Be Reissued As Two-CD Set
December 6, 2007Legendary California hard rockers Y&T have issued the following update:
"Early next year we'll be releasing a special two-CD set of the Y&T '90s CDs: 'Musically Incorrect' and 'Endangered Species'. Stay tuned for more info. Also, we're still trying to obtain the rights to re-release the first two YESTERDAY AND TODAY albums, but Universal is currently in the midst of an internal ownership battle over these two albums; until they resolve it, our hands are tied."
A 24-minute audio interview with Y&T mainman Dave Meniketti conducted in October by Norway's Metal Express Radio (web site) has been posted online at this location.
Fan-filmed video footage of Y&T performing the song "Hungry for Rock" on October 26, 2007 at the Newcastle Carling Academy, UK can be viewed below.
Locomotive Records released the two-DVD/CD set "Live: One Hot Night" by Y&T in North America on August 14. This Netherlands show, recorded in October of 2006, comes complete with a bonus DVD containing backstage aftershow "meet-and-greet" segments. You also get to go to the pre-show soundcheck as well as view the outtakes from the concert itself. Rounding out this must-have package for any Y&T fan is a photo gallery, a special clip from 2006's Bang Your Head!!! festival and an accompanying CD of the Netherlands show.
