YEAR OF DESOLATION: New Album Preview Available

Indiana-based thrashers YEAR OF DESOLATION have posted an early mix of the band's song "Flavor of the Weak" on their MySpace page as a pre-cursor to their forthcoming Prosthetic Records debut.

Currently on tour across the United States with CERBERUS and FOREVER IN TERROR on the "Cultivating The Masses" tour, YEAR OF DESOLATION just recently completed recording of their new CD, tentatively dubbed "Year of Desolation". Recorded with producer Jamie King (BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME, THROUGH THE EYES OF THE DEAD),the record is due out in early 2007. Touring plans for the fall are currently in the works, tentatively teaming YEAR OF DESOLATION up with labelmates BURN IN SILENCE. More details will be announced when they are available.

After forming in 2001, YEAR OF DESOLATION released its debut album, "Your Blood, My Vendetta", in 2004 before signing with Prosthetic in early 2006.
