10-Year-Old Boy Helps MOTÖRHEAD 'Rock Out' In New Video
October 23, 2008According to MyCentralJersey.com, a 10-year-old boy from South Plainfield, New Jersey will be appearing in the world premiere of the new MOTÖRHEAD video "Rock Out", set to air at 10 p.m. Thursday, October 23, during "Headbanger's Ball" on MTV2.
"The kids in school didn't believe me when I told them," Luke Painton said. "I'm going to put it on my iPod and bring it to school."
One of the video's producers, Wes Orshoski, was pleased with Painton's performance.
"Luke was very nervous at first, but he killed it in the end," said Orshoski. "It was probably my favorite part of the video."
Luke and his 15-year-old brother Tanner, who both play guitar, went to a Masters of Metal concert in August with their parents, Jim and Dale.
"These guys were heroes of mine since I was Luke's age," Jim Painton said of MOTÖRHEAD. "I used to watch their videos in the early 1980s on UHF, the 'Heavy Metal Power Hour'. I'm probably as excited as Luke about this."
