YGGDRASIL To Enter Studio In September
July 29, 2010Swedish folk metal band YGGDRASIL has issued the following update:
"YGGDRASIL has been keeping quiet for some time now but we are finally ready to share some news with you all!
"The writing of the new and third YGGDRASIL album is complete and the recording will commence in September. Expect nothing but the best!
"The new album is scheduled for an early 2011 release through Grand Master Music.
"The release date coincides with the 10-year anniversary of the band and we have something special planned to mark the occasion."
YGGDRASIL earlier in the year parted ways with the German record label Det Germanske Folket.
YGGDRASIL's latest album, "Vedergällning", came out in early 2009. The CD was recorded at Endarker Studios in Norrköping, Sweden with producer Magnus Devo Andersson (MARDUK bassist).
YGGDRASIL's debut album, "Kvällningsvindar över Nordrönt Land", was recorded in 2005 but didn't see the light of day until the end of 2007 via Det Germanske Folket.
