ZAKK WYLDE To Launch Gibson Guitar Program At Hard Rock Hotel San Diego; Meet-And-Greet Details

Hotel guests who yearn to channel their inner rock star and boast about playing at some of the nation's most acclaimed music venues can now do both with a new amenity program from two of rock 'n' roll's biggest brands, Hard Rock Hotels and Casinos and Gibson Guitar. The two brands have collaborated on "Check In, Rock Out," a program that offers hotel guests a top-of-the-line Gibson guitar to take to their room and jam out at no cost. The program, which debuted at Hard Rock Hotel Chicago, will launch at Hard Rock Hotel San Diego on February 3 with a special appearance and guitar dedication by legendary guitarist and BLACK LABEL SOCIETY frontman Zakk Wylde.

With the new program, upon check in, Hard Rock Hotel San Diego guests can choose from a selection of high-end Gibson guitars to take to their room along with a Pocket Pod Amp and high-definition Beats by Dr. Dre headphones to rock out to their hearts content without disturbing neighboring hotel guests.

San Diego officially rolls out "Check In, Rock Out" on February 3, 2011 at 3 p.m. with a special appearance by rock legend and former longtime guitarist for Ozzy Osbourne, Zakk Wylde. Wylde will present a signed signature Zakk Wylde Gibson Guitar to Hard Rock Hotel San Diego and will unveil 14 new Gibson guitars available to guests. Additionally, he will host an exclusive meet-and-greet at Hard Rock Hotel San Diego following the guitar unveiling and one lucky fan will receive a once-in-a-lifetime private guitar lesson from Zakk himself.
