ZYKLON Guitarist To Guest On New GLORIA MORTI Album

April 1, 2007

Finnish black metallers GLORIA MORTI have issued the following update:

"We are more than happy to announce that none other than Destruchtor, known for his work in MYRKSKOG and ZYKLON, will make an appearance on the forthcoming GLORIA MORTI album, 'Eryx', as a guest solo guitarist for the track 'Sands of Hinnom'.

"When we toured with ZYKLON in 2004, we were all very pleasantly struck by the amazing guitarwork of Destruchtor. In the proccess of making the new album, we noticed that there was a part that could use a solo in his style and approached him, asking if he would be interested in contributing a solo for this album. And this weekend, we found an eardrum-shredding, face-busting guitar solo lying in our e-mail box.

"Kudos to Destructhor for his amazing work, as well as Samoth and Sechtdamon."

"Eryx" projected track listing:

01. Deathstream (Anthologies of Lifestream)
02. Until the Wretched Whimper
03. Phoenix Caged in Flesh
04. Evermorose
05. Prophet of Eosphorus
06. Synthetic Eden
07. The Origins of Sin
08. The Djinnwhisperer
09. Sands of Hinnom

GLORIA MORTI's debut album, "Lifestream Corrosion", was released in 2004 through Firebox Records in Scandinavia and World Chaos Productions in Japan. The CD was mixed at Sonic Pump studios in Helsinki and was mastered at Finnvox studios.
