God's Spreading Cancer

When this album originally came out, in 2007, HEADHUNTER D.C. (no, I don't know what the D.C. stands for, but I've got five bucks on "Dead Christ" based on their song titles alone) had already been a band for two decades. Count DESTINITY as one of a long line of French bands that don't so much reinvent their chosen style of metal - the obvious exceptions (GOJIRA, DEATHSPELL OMEGA, etc) notwithstanding — as do things a little differently or simply march to the beat their own appointed drummer. "XI Reasons to See", the...

Revenge

Danvers, MA's MONGREL brings a punk style with metal edges on the "Revenge" EP. Perhaps more accurately described as crossover, yet not in its purest form, there are moments that remind of D.R.I. and a hodgepodge of punk/crossover acts.
