ALTARIA To Be Joined By NIGHTWISH Guitarist During Upcoming Gigs

Finnish melodic metal band ALTARIA, featuring SONATA ARCTICA guitarist Jani Liimatainen, will be joined by NIGHTWISH guitarist Emppu Vuorinen on second guitar during some of their forthcoming live shows, according to ALTARIA's official web site.

In other news, ALTARIA will record a song called "Stranger" from CACOPHONY's Go Off! CD for the Jason Becker Tribute II album, due in Japan in December. Other artists set to appear on the CD include Steve Vai, Marty Friedman, Ronni LeTekro, Randy Coven, Tracy G, Mats Olausson and Michael Von Knorring, among others.
