Ex-MEGADETH Bassist, Guitarist To Join SEBASTIAN BACH's Touring Line-Up
April 27, 2002Former MEGADETH bassist David Ellefson and guitarist Al Pitrelli (currently in SAVATAGE) will be joining ex-SKID ROW singer Sebastian Bach and his touring group (which includes former ANTHRAX axeman Paul Crook),for several live shows beginning with a two-night stint at Stone Pony in Asbury Park, New Jersey on May 10-11. The confirmed dates are as follows:
May 10 - Asbury Park, NJ @ The Stone Pony
May 11 - Asbury Park, NJ @ The Stone Pony
May 15 – Towson, MD @ Recher Theatre
May 16 – Wantagh, NY @ Mulcahy's
May 17 – Hartford, CT @ Webster Hall
May 18 - Clifton Park, NY @ Northern Lights
May 22 - New York, NY @ Irving Plaza
Pitrelli will be filling in temporarily for regular Bach guitarist Richie Scarlet, who is currently busy touring with MOUNTAIN. Ellefson's appearance, on the other hand, has yet to be officially confirmed, although several outlets—including Tickets.com—are already advertising it in conjunction with the above-listed dates.
In related news, Bach has confirmed via his official web site that VH1 has pulled the plug on his Forever Wild show following the airing of episode #13 and the cable channel has instead “offered me a brand new show that would air at 4 PM in the afternoon, but would feature much more commercial videos than Forever Wild, so I am not sure if I am going to take them up on [it],” Sebastian wrote.
