AC/DC: ANGUS And MALCOLM YOUNG Sculptures Due In Early 2006

June 13, 2005

KnuckleBonz, Inc. announced its plans to create limited-edition sculptures of renowned AC/DC guitarists Angus and Malcolm Young. The figures will be the latest in the Guitar Hero limited-edition collectible series. These are officially licensed products from AC/DC, Angus and Malcolm Young. The sculptures are currently in pre-production and are scheduled for release in early 2006. Pre-orders are now available at www.guitarhero.net for the limited-edition collectibles.

The sculpture of Angus Young will display the rock star in his iconic schoolboy uniform. The Malcolm Young figure will depict the talented rhythm guitarist in his signature stance cranking out the AC/DC crunch. The Guitar Hero series focuses on capturing the images of legendary musicians of both past and present in detailed limited edition sculptures.

"The dual attack of the Young brothers is one of the all time greatest pairings in rock. Angus is the ultimate combo of chops and showmanship and Mal's rhythm work has always been AC/DC's secret weapon. It is only fitting that they be created as a tandem for the series," says Tony Simerman, President and Creative Director of KnuckleBonz, Inc.

AC/DC was formed in 1973 by Malcolm Young along with his brother Angus. The guitar duo helped anchor the band as one of the most influential hard rock sounds with an amazing multi-decade career that still fascinates fans over and over with their powerful yet clean style. The Young brothers are responsible for what many recognize as several of the greatest rock guitar albums of all time.

The Angus and Mal sculptures will be carefully crafted using a team of highly skilled artists to sculpt a remarkable likeness of both guitarists. The limited edition figures will be cast in a poly-resin and hand-painted in fine detail. Both sculpture editions will be hand-numbered and will include a certificate of authenticity. Each of these figures will be created in a very limited edition of 3,000 each worldwide.

Pricing and Availability: The Angus Young and Malcolm Young limited-edition sculptures will sell for $99 per figure and can be purchased via www.guitarhero.net and select retailers worldwide. Pre-orders are now available at www.guitarhero.net. See the company's web site for further details on pre-ordering and shipping information.
