AEROSMITH Canceling More Shows Due To Singer's Health

March 8, 2006

The AEROSMITH/CHEAP TRICK performance at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, New Hampshire, originally slated for Thursday, March 9, has been cancelled. There is no plan to reschedule the date. Refunds will be made available at the point of purchase.

AEROSMITH have been forced to cancel a few concerts this week due to frontman Steven Tyler's health, according to Launch Radio Networks. The first one was Saturday (March 4) in Pensacola, Florida, and the second came last night (Tuesday, March 7) in Lexington, Kentucky. Both shows got dropped without much notice — Florida in the early afternoon, and Kentucky just a little more than two hours before show time. No official reason has been given for either cancellation, but the Lexington Herald-Leader newspaper said it was because Tyler was ill. There are no plans to reschedule either concert.

Presuming Tyler is up to it, AEROSMITH's next show is Sunday (March 12) at the Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
