February 21, 2007

According to NME.com, AEROSMITH played a surprised show at the Hard Rock Café in London Monday night (February 19) to celebrate the announcement of their forthcoming European tour.

Ripping through hits from their debut album right up to the present day, a few hundred watched the bare-chested rockers stripped down to the basics.

"When I heard them playing this song, I knew I had to join the band," frontman Steven Tyler announced before launching into a cover of FLEETWOOD MAC's "Rattlesnake Shake". "If they weren't going to let me in I was breaking in," he continued.

The group's setlist was as follows:

01. Walkin' The Dog
02. Love In An Elevator
03. Living On The Edge
04. What It Takes
05. Draw The Line
06. Rattlesnake Shake
07. I Don't Want To Miss A Thing
08. Baby Please Don't Go
09. Cryin'
10. Walk This Way
11. Train Kept A Rollin'

AEROSMITH will take a break from working on a new studio album to tour Europe this summer for the first time since 1999. The trek begins June 6 in Randers, Denmark, and will run through July 12 in Moscow. Beforehand, the group will play in Dubai and Mumbai, India.
