AFTER FOREVER Guitarist Releases New Track From HDK Project

May 28, 2007

AFTER FOREVER guitarist/songwriter Sander Gommans has uploaded another song from his HDK project, entitled "Fight or Flight", to his MySpace page. The track features contributions from the following musicians:

Amanda Somerville: Middle part
Jos Severens (SUSTAIN): Clean parts during verses
Patrick Savelkoul (CALLENISH CIRCLE): Screams during verses
Sander Gommans: Grunts and screams verses + chorus
Ariën van Weesenbeek (GOD DETHRONED): Drums
Peter Vink: Bass Guitar
Sander Gommans: Guitar
Joost van den Broek (SUN CAGED, AFTER FOREVER): Keyboards that sound like a guitar

Gommans is currently taking a break from AFTER FOREVER touring activities under doctor's orders following "spells of vertigo and debilitating black-outs, followed or preceded by a migraine." I'm still taking it easy and I already feel a little bit better," the guitarist says.

HDK's musical direction was previously described by Gommans as "modern thrash/death metal with a lot of melodic influences."
