ALICE COOPER To Guest On CNBC's 'Power Lunch'

May 14, 2005

According to a post at SickthingsUK, Alice Cooper will appear on the CNBC cable television program "Power Lunch" on Tuesday, May 17, between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. The show will be broadcast from The Phoenician Resort & Spa and will be carried live in the Phoenix area on CNBC, Channel 64 on Cox digital cable.

"Power Lunch" takes "an up-close and personal look at the companies, people and trends driving the markets and influencing Wall Street — whether from the world of entertainment, media, real estate, technology or fashion," according to the show's official web site.

As previously reported, the new ALICE COOPER album, "Dirty Diamonds", will receive a U.S. release on August 9 via New West Records.

"Dirty Diamonds", which is said to be a continuation of the more organic approach found on Cooper's last effort, "The Eyes of Alice Cooper", was overseen by Steve Lindsey, who co-produced Cooper's 2004 duet with rapper XZIBIT, "Stand" (off the official Olympics Games album, "Unity") and has worked with Elton John, Luther Vandross and Leonard Cohen.
