ANCIENT RITES Guitarist Completes Work On AHRÁYEPH Demo: Audio Available

March 20, 2006

Raf, the guitar player in the Belgian black metal band ANCIENT RITES, completed a four-song demo called "Heralding The Marooned" with his project AHRÁYEPH prior to his current mixing and mastering duties for fellow countrymen THEUDHO's sophomore album, "The Völsunga Saga". The four songs on the demo will be included on a full-length CD, entitled "Marooned On Samsara", which he is working on in between mixing projects and his duties with ANCIENT RITES.

Although AHRÁYEPH is currently a one-man project, other musicians will join the band in the near future, enabling AHRÁYEPH to play live gigs. "Heralding the Marooned" is first and foremost intended to help AHRÁYEPH find a label to release its debut album on, which will be finished by late summer/early autumn, but might be offered for sale at a later date. Artwork for both the demo and the full album are created in cooperation with Harbinger Design, the CD cover-art and web site design company of Dirk Vollon, bass player in Belgian prog metal band ZERO GRAVITY. People interested in music in the vein of old-school goth and cold wave can check out the demo songs on AHRÁYEPH's MySpace page.

"Heralding the Marooned" track listing:

01. Misanthropia
02. Seele
