Stitt was found dead behind the counter at the Liquor Outlet on Washington and Nellis in Las Vegas around 9:15 p.m. on July 8. Police are now on the hunt for his killer.
Police say that two African-American men were seen running away from the store, hopping over a wall and getting into a dark-colored Crown Victoria. The men were not wearing disguises.
A man who identified himself to police as the victim's half-brother, Paul Smith, said his brother was working alone and had only been working at the liquor store for eight months. Paul Stitt often told his brother that working at the liquor store at night by himself made him nervous.
Paul Vee leaves behind his two dogs, his brother, and his mother, who lives out of state.
