APOCALYPTICA, WEDNESDAY 13, FOZZY, SHADOWS FALL Confirmed For U.K.'s DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL

eFestivals.co.uk is reportingthat APOCALYPTICA, WEDNESDAY 13, LORDI, FOZZY and SHADOWS FALL are among the acts that have been newly confirmed for Download Festival, which takes place June 10-12 at Donington Park in Leicestershire, England.

New for the Main Stage on Friday are WEDNESDAY 13 and QUEEN ADREENA, who join the likes of FEEDER, GARBAGE, MEGADETH, and JJ72. Saturday — the Ozzfest day with BLACK SABBATH, VELVET REVOLVER, ANTHRAX, and more — has added A, MAD CAPSULE MARKETS, and THE MOONEY SUZUKI.

On the Snickers Stage, the Friday has added INME, APOCALYPTICA, UNDEROATH, LORDI, FOZZY, and FLOGGING MOLLY, while Sunday added SHADOWS FALL and FINCH to line-up with MOTÖRHEAD, LACUNA COIL and others.

These join other bands previously announced, including SYSTEM OF A DOWN, SLIPKNOT, BILLY IDOL, NIGHTWISH, and more. Click here for the full day and stage listings (so far) — more bands will be added in the coming weeks.

Day tickets go on sale tomorrow (Wednesday) at 10am, priced at £45 for the Friday, and £50 for the Saturday and Sunday. Three-day tickets are already on sale, priced at £105, with camping costing an extra £22.50 (and with parking thrown in). Those not camping will (if required) need to buy an extra ticket to park their car, costing £5 if bought at the same time as festival tickets, or costing £10 on the day.
