DREAM THEATER vocalist James LaBrie has posted the following update on the progress of the second MULLMUZZLER CD:

...

'Jim Brick from Absolute Audio will be Mastering MULLMUZZLER 2 on Monday, [April] 16th. I can't tell you how excited I am to finally be at this stage with the disc. It sounds fantastic now, so I can only imagine what it will sound like after being mastered.

...

'This disc is a real different and interesting statement for me musically, and I'm hoping that everyone enjoys it and freaks for that very reason. Don't worry — there is rock, there is progressive elements and so on. But I wanted to show people some other colors to me musically and I'm really psyched about this.

...

'At this point It looks like we're (Magna Carta and I) are shooting for an August 7th release. If all goes according to plan, it will simply happen as I have stated. If not and something changes, I will let you all know.

...

'The artwork for the disc is completed, and once again Dave McKean has come through amazingly. This guy is in another dimension. Incredible imagination. Very unique and innovative. Totally captured my concept — too much, just a little scary.

...

'Well, that is all for now. Take care everyone and I'm sorry I'm not in touch more often, but like all of you life deals so many responsibilities. That is not negative — it's just reality.'
