ASTRIAAL: New Album, 7" Appearances Planned

January 17, 2002

Australia's ASTRIAAL are currently writing the material for their forthcoming full-length CD, which is tentatively scheduled to be recorded in the winter, with Lachlan Mitchell engineering. In other news, ASTRIAAL are due to have their Summoning the Essence of Ancient Wisdom effort released on vinyl with four extra tracks via Norway's Mester Productions in early 2002. A two-track 7" vinyl EP on Dark Horizon Records, entitled Throne to Perish, is also due for release early-mid 2002. Finally, tentative plans exist for ASTRIAAL to release a split 7" for Dissident Records (through the newly-formed Terra Australis label) with another, yet-to-be-confirmed Australian band around winter 2002.
