BANG TANGO REDUX Interviewed: Video Available

August 16, 2010

Argentinean rock journalist Lucas H. Gordon, who currently resides in Hollywood, California, recently conducted an interview with BANG TANGO REDUX, the band featuring original BANG TANGO members Mark Knight, Kyle Stevens, Kyle Kyle and Tigg Ketler along with vocalist Michael DeMay. You can now watch the chat below.

BANG TANGO REDUX made its live debut on August 6 at Paladino's in Tarzana, California.

"We are starting with a couple of shows in town and then we will see what evolves," guitarist Mark Knight told Sleaze Roxx in a recent interview. "If it builds up and starts rolling we will do more dates."

He added, "Joe LeSte [BANG TANGO singer] has been doing it for many years with other members and I don't even know his attendance out there — I've heard some things. But I figure there is going to be a handful of interested fans that will probably be like, 'Let's hear this done by the original guys,' and it will be interesting to see. I really couldn't call it. It might be just dismal."

When asked why LeSte isn't involved in the reunion, Mark said, "We had tried to contact Joe in 2009 because we wanted to do a 20-year reunion of 'Psycho Cafe' and the release of the band BANG TANGO, but no one could really contact him. We tried and tried but there were no returned calls so it never evolved into anything. So we gave up on that. It was something we wanted to do with him but he didn't come around.

"I don't really know. There is no communication — it's gone with him, so I don't know where he is at with it."
