Bassist SCOTT SORRY Quits AMEN

September 23, 2004

Bassist Scott Sorry is the latest AMEN member to announce his departure from the group. Sorry's official statement on the matter is as follows:

"O.K. bitches here is the deal. I have decided to leave AMEN.

"The first person I met when I joined AMEN was Matty [former AMEN guitarist Matt Montgomery]. He, [former AMEN guitarist] Rich [Jones], [ex-AMEN drummer] Luke [Johnson], and even Poochy, became my family. I love them all dearly and we spent a lot of time in the trenches together. They are my best friends and the only family I knew for two years.

"Staying in AMEN would be like staying in a band only for the money without them. They are my brothers and I don't give a fuck about money.

"I, for the most part, had a great time in AMEN. I will not lie about that. But life has taken me in a direction in which I cannot afford to play in AMEN anymore. I have to be responsible for more than myself now. Yes, Scott Sorry is even trying to be sober now!

"Anyway, those of you that I have got to know over the last two years know that I cherish your friendship and hope you will not judge me illy for my decision. For those of you that I don't know, I am sure that the new line-up is a swell bunch of lads and you will get along fine with them. My time is done, however. And I am the coolest, so it is your own fault for waiting so long to give a fuck!

"Anyway, as the sun sets slowly in the west I bid you a fond farewell. . Scott Sorry is dead, motherfuckers, but this is not the last time you will hear from me! I am now Scott Smoker and fuck y'all that want a piece..."
