Female Metal Singers Spotlighted In New Book

Angela Gossow (ARCH ENEMY),Anneke van Giersbergen (THE GATHERING),Floor Jansen (AFTER FOREVER),Simone Simons (EPICA),Sarah Jezebel Deva (CRADLE OF FILTH, THERION, MORTIIS),Cristina Scabbia (LACUNA COIL),Liv Kristine Espenaes (LEAVES' EYES, ex-THEATRE OF TRAGEDY),Nienke de Jong (AUTUMN) and Sharon den Adel (WITHIN TEMPTATION) are among the female singers featured in the book "Power and Majesty: Females in Metal" by Marta Samitowska. The book, which can be ordered from Metal-Maiden.com, includes interviews with the above-mentioned vocalists about their beginnings, their love for metal and music in general, and their opinions about singing, songwriting and image.
