BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME Announces eBay Charity Auction

Raleigh, North Carolina-based progressive metalcore quintet BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME has issued the following update:

"Up for auction are two Port City 2x12 Wave cabinets. These are loaded with Celestion Vintage 30 speakers (8 ohm load per cabinet). The winning bidder will also receive a color poster signed by all the members of BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME along with a custom BTBAM guitar pick.

"This is a charity auction. All proceeds will go to the SPCA. The mission of SPCA International is to raise awareness of the abuse of animals to a global level, to teach and foster good pet parenting policies, and to promote spay and neuter programs around the world with the goal of eradicating the need to euthanize healthy and adoptable companion animals of all ages."

BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME performed its new album, "Colors", in entirety on October 29, 2007 at The Ottobar in Baltimore, Maryland. The first two songs of the performance can be viewed below (video footage shot by Metal Nick).

Released on September 18 via Victory Records, "Colors" was previously described by BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME as "a 65-minute opus of non-stop pummeling beautiful music. We have described this release as 'adult contemporary death prog metal.'"

"Colors" sold 12,600 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 57 on The Billboard 200 chart.
