BLACK WATER RISING: Bassist Announced

April 17, 2007

BLACK WATER RISING, the Brooklyn-based band featuring former DUST TO DUST singer/songwriter Rob Traynor alongside ex-BOILER ROOM drummer Mike Meselsohn and former STEREOMUD guitarist Johnny Fattoruso, has announced the addition of bassist Oddie (yes, that's his real name) McLaughlin to the group's ranks. According to the band, "Oddie has been jamming around the New York City scene for the last 15-plus years and when he came down and plugged in it just fit. He's brought a real 'go get 'em' attitude to the band and we're real psyched to bring this thing to the stage."

BLACK WATER RISING is currently rehearsing and tracking music its debut album, due out sometime in mid-to-late 2007. You can go to the band's MySpace page and check out some of the material.
