BLIND GUARDIAN, GRAVE DIGGER, Ex-JUDAS PRIEST Members To Guest On MAEGI Debut

MAEGI, the power-progressive metal project of Oganalp Canatan (DREAMTONE, NEVERLAND),will release its debut album, "Skies Fall", in early 2013. The CD will feature guest appearances by Hansi Kürsch (BLIND GUARDIAN),Chris Boltendahl (GRAVE DIGGER),Tim "Ripper" Owens (JUDAS PRIEST, ICED EARTH, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, DIO DISCIPLES),Zak Stevens (SAVATAGE, TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA, CIRCLE II CIRCLE) and Jerry Outlaw (JON OLIVA'S PAIN).

After working with DREAMTONE and NEVERLAND for about a decade, Canatan decided to move on with his solo ideas, forming MAEGI.

"Skies Fall" was recorded, engineered, mixed and produced by Canatan. The artwork was created by Yigit Koroglu. The booklet and layout design were handled by Canatan and Ali Yücel Ozdemir.

"Skies Fall" will be made available as a regular CD edition and a collector's edition featuring extra goodies and a story inspired by the "Skies Fall" theme, approximately 40,000 words in length. The story is being written by Prarabdh Thakur.
