BLINDED COLONY To Film 'Heart' Video Next Week

Swedish melodic death metal act BLINDED COLONY will begin filming a video for the second single from the "Bedtime Prayers" album, "Heart", next Tuesday. "We will once again be working with producer Thomas Tjäder (IN FLAMES),who also produced the video for 'Once Bitten, Twice Shy'," says guitarist Tobias Olsson."He did a fantastic job with 'Once Bitten, Twice Shy' and we are sure that the BLINDED COLONY fans will be glad to hear that the 'Heart' video will be less performance-based, and more plot-based. But that is all the info I want to let out for now. Bottom line: the 'Heart' video will slay!"

In other news, BLINDED COLONY has made a live video for the song "21st Century Holocaust" available on its MySpace page. "The audio is taken from the Vienna show, and the video shots are taken from our performances at Vienna, Brno, Salzburg, Wachenrot, and Köln," says Tobias. "So if you were in the crowd at those gigs, check out the video, you may be shown in the crowd cheering us on!"

Also on the BLINDED COLONY front, the band is currently working with Metal Girl, the Belgian break-dancing sensation, and "the only true metal breaker," according to the group. "We are currently working with her on an awesome video clip encompassing multiple live videos shot on our 'Outcasts Over Europe' tour with EKTOMORF and KAYSER," says Tjäder. "That is definitely something everyone should keep an eye out for!"

BLINDED COLONY's sophomore release, "Bedtime Prayers", dropped in January. The band followed up the release with a 38-day tour with EKTOMORF and KAYSER. More touring will follow in the fall.
