BRAND NEW SIN Part Ways With Guitarist SLIDER

March 5, 2004

BRAND NEW SIN, the New York-based rock band which rose from the ashes of GODBELOW, have parted ways with guitarist Slider. "A bandmate, a friend, a brother is gone," BRAND NEW SIN singer Joe Altier writes in an official statement. "The reasons are personal. We love him with all of our hearts and wish him the best of luck no matter what he does. We would never say anything bad about him or what has happened.

"I know this comes as a surprise to everyone but believe me this is a turning point for the better," the singer's statement continues. "I know some of you will not understand this but it is something that only the BNS family will understand. I also understand that some of you will bash us, trash us, or what not but to those people, I am sorry but you do not know the whole story. We will steamroll forward as a five piece, myself, Kris, Kenny, Kevin and Chuck. We are really excited about the new songs and can't wait to share them with you all. Before too long new BNS album will be in your faces!! Again this is a sad day personally for us but a turning point for the better. Take care all. We love you."

BRAND NEW SIN are tentatively scheduled to release a new CD mid-2004 on Bardic Records.
