BROKEN TEETH To Enter Studio In January

December 12, 2007

BROKEN TEETH/ex-DANGEROUS TOYS singer Jason McMaster has issued the following update:

"'Electric', the new [BROKEN] TEETH [album], will be available soon. Our European label Tex-Tone/Cargo are in negotiations with iTunes for a digital release of 'Electric', hopefully available by the end of January 2008. Hard copies (CDs) will soon follow. CDs will be available online as well, but we won't have them listed until the itunes deal goes through. So please be patient with us.

"The music business is so diffrent now. Downloading is bigger than ever and is completley being upgraded. I might even ask Santa for an iPod.

"For those of you that know me, I live in a cave, and listen to records... as in black vinyl round things that spin and a needle picks up the sound and sends it through speakers. Wild idea, huh?

"We won't be touring in January. We are headed into the studio again to record new songs we have written while on the road in 2007. We have about 30 ideas in all, so a lot of work ahead to weed them all out. This will take place from January 28 through February 20, 2008. Only regional Texas/Louisiana/Oklahoma dates are being worked out for in between studio sessions.

"March will see the TEETH playing during SWSW (South by Southwest) music conference (spring break time) in Austin. Should be three or four shows that week in Austin. None of them, at least as far as I can tell, will be free, or cheap cover, and no wristband from the SXSW festival organization will be needed for any BROKEN TEETH show. Hell, like i said before, we might even have 'Electric' CDs available at that time.

"Europe — yes, we are headed for Europe to tour only days after SXSW. If you're over the pond, please check out Cargo Distribution to order CDs for your store, or your local CD shop where your fave rock CDs are sold. Start looking hard around January 28, 2008.

"We hope to see you at the shows. Tour dates are being worked on as we speak, and about a week of the tour is already posted online at BrokenTeeth.com and the BROKEN TEETH MySpace.

"So, 'till next time, keep your rock loud and have faith for all the things in life that make you get through the day. Those things, I hope, have alot to do with rock 'n' roll/metal music. I know that stuff makes me get through the days."
