BUCKCHERRY Honored For Continued Success

April 25, 2007

Two-time Grammy nominee and gold-certified rock underdogs BUCKCHERRY continue to honor their claim as the success rock story, as they were honored in front of 15,000 people at the Buzzfest radio show in Houston April 21. Celebrating the band's success were superstar friends HINDER, PAPA ROACH and THE EXIES, who presented the band with plaques commemorating their 200th show! Poised for platinum, they have a new video for their current single "Everything" which just passed 2,200 spins at radio and became a top five active rock single, and they are adding more dates to come.

Celebrating their 200th show and one-year anniversary of the release of their current record, "15" (Eleven Seven Music/Atlantic Records),which debuted at #2 on the Independent Chart before being up-streamed to Atlantic proper, BUCKCHERRY have remained on the Billboard Top 200 for 52 weeks and consistently moved more than 7,500 units each week for more than a year now. "15" has sold more than 1 million copies worldwide. BUCKCHERRY's smash-hit summer-of-2006-anthem, the Grammy-nominated Best Hard Rock Performance "Crazy Bitch" has just passed the 1 million mark on downloads for ringtones.

Said Vince Richards, Director of FM Programming for Clear Channel Houston, "We were happy to have BUCKCHERRY featured again at Buzzfest this year. One of the highlights was when our morning show host, Rod Ryan, surprised the band with plaques commemorating a year on the Billboard album chart, over 1 million in worldwide sales, over a million ringtones sold, 200+ shows in the past year and still going strong. It's great to see that when a band makes a great record and works so hard, that it can really pay off for them. We are glad to have been there from the beginning!"
