BUCKCHERRY: Illness Forces Concert Cancellations
March 17, 2006Reunited Los Angeles rockers BUCKCHERRY have been forced to cancel their previously announced shows at the Moronga Casino in Cabazon, CA (March 17) and at the Malibu Inn in Malibu, CA (March 18) "due to an illness in the band." '80s metal/hard rock tribute band METAL SKOOL will still be playing at the Morongo and it will still be a fun way to spend St. Patrick's Day, but unfortunately without BUCKCHERRY. The rest of the shows on BUCKCHERRY's current tour will go on as scheduled.
BUCKCHERRY's first studio album in four years, "Fifteen", will be released in North America April 11 on Eleven Seven Music in association with ADA, a Warner Music Group Company.
BUCKCHERRY founders lead singer Josh Todd and co-writer/guitarist Keith Nelson as well as three new members — Xavier Muriel (drums),Stevie D. (guitars) and bassist Jimmy Ashhurst — have been invited to perform at the NCAA Final Four event on April 1 in Indianapolis at the WFBQ/WRBX Budweiser Tourney Tent directly following the first game.
