BUCKCHERRY Offers 'Our World' Free Download

June 10, 2010

Rockers BUCKCHERRY will release "Our World", a track from their newly-completed forthcoming album, "All Night Long", on their website at www.buckcherry.com as their offering of support for the victims of the Gulf oil tragedy. The song, which was originally written as an anthemic cry out to help right the social, environmental, economic and other wrongs of this world, represents the band’s commitment to expose the BP disaster and to bring awareness and support to the crisis and its victims — human and animal. The band will also offer links on their website to helpful organizations allowing fans to connect to provide financial and other support.

BUCKCHERRY frontman Josh Todd commented, "As musicians who have the benefit of the spotlight from time to time, we feel it is our duty to aid in raising awareness and financial support to help remedy the awful situation in the Gulf Of Mexico. It is so important that each and every one of us do what we can to help those out whose lives have been harshly impacted by the oil spill."

"All Night Long", the new video from BUCKCHERRY, can be viewed below. The song is the title cut of the band's brand new album, "All Night Long", which is set for an August 3 release in North America via original independent label Eleven Seven Music. The band recently put the finishing touches on the record with producers Marti Frederiksen (AEROSMITH, DEF LEPPARD, FUEL) and guitarist/songwriter Keith Nelson.

"It's definitely a rock 'n' roll record," Nelson previously said of the new CD. "I think that we've grown, we've expanded, lyrically, musically, as songwriters and as musicians. I think it's next logical step in our evolution." Todd added, "This record has a lot of uptemp beats, and it's got a lot of groove, great guitar riffs. I just think we're coming into our element. We've been doing it so long. It's fun listening to the body of work back now. We didn't do demos this time, so by the time we got here [to the recording studio], we were really chomping at the bit to hear some songs. And once we got 'em in our hands, we knew we had something really special."
