BURNING SKIES: All Shows Cancelled

October 13, 2008

Bristol, UK's BURNING SKIES have been forced to cancel all previously shows and tours at least until the end of the year. According to a press release, "BURNING SKIES singer Merv was attacked [this past] Friday. Whilst on the floor he had his leg twisted 180 degrees and repeatedly stamped on. The doctors said he nearly lost his leg and he could take six months to recover. He's in the hospital at the moment and no one's really sure when he'll be able to leave."

"Rounding Up The Cattle", the new video from BURNING SKIES, can be viewed below. The track comes off the group's third album, "Greed.Filth.Abuse.Corruption", which was released in Europe in March via Lifeforce Records (May 13 in the U.S.). The CD was recorded at Rape Of Harmonies studios (HEAVEN SHALL BURN, FALL OF SERENIITY, MAROON) with Alexander Dietz, Patrick W. Engel and Kai Tennenberg and contains 11 tracks of "sheer goregastic brutality," according to a press release.
