BYZANTINE Sign With PROSTHETIC RECORDS

West Virginia's BYZANTINE have inked a deal with Prosthetic Records. Having cut their teeth touring and playing shows with everyone from LAMB OF GOD to NORA to LACUNA COIL, the band will embark on a national run in early January in preparation for the release of their self-titled, self-produced debut, which arrives February 10, 2004. Featuring a sound that can be best described as both technical and melodious, "Byzantine" brings "a new level of musicality not heard in metal in years," according to an official press release.
