"Evisceration Plague", the new album from CANNIBAL CORPSE, registered the following first-week chart positions:

Austria: #41
Canada: #38
Germany: #42
Holland: #105
USA: #66

"Evisceration Plague" sold 9,600 copies in the United States in its first week of release. (Note: Nielsen SoundScan initially reported a first-week total of 7,500 for "Evisceration Plague", but that number was subsequently "adjusted," according to the band's record label, Metal Blade Records.) This is more than 50 percent higher than the opening tally of the band's previous CD, "Kill" (2006),which landed at No. 170 after shifting more than 6,000 copies. In 1996, CANIBAL CORPSE's "Vile" premiered at No. 151, with more than 6,100 copies sold.

"Evisceration Plague" is available as a limited-edition digipack including a bonus track and bonus DVD, jewelcase CD and on limited splatter vinyl.

"Kill" has sold more than 55,000 copies in the United States since its 2006 release, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
