CHAOSANCT Parts Ways With Guitarist, Seeks Replacement

December 9, 2008

CHAOSANCT, the band featuring James McIlroy (guitar; ex-CRADLE OF FILTH) and Matt C. (drums; ex-BIOMECHANICAL),has issued the following update:

"Due to other projects such as SAMSAS TRAUM and others, Andrew Ongley [guitar] has decided to part ways with us. He'll not be sitting still, he'll be as busy as ever, and we wish him all the best in his future musical projects.

"This does leave one of the guitar slots in the band vacant, and as such we're looking for a new guitarist round the London area to come complete the band once more. We're looking for someone with solid rythm chops, as well as lead playing, with the material based on seven-strings.

"If anyone is interested, they can email [email protected] with some information about yourself, your MySpace or recentish picture, or anywhere where we can have a listen to previous bands or music you've composed.

"We'll hopefully then get some auditions for interested and suitable people come the beginning of next year."

CHAOSANCT recently posted two tracks — "I of Goliath" and "Slither" — on the band's MySpace page. The songs come off the group's self-produced four-song "I of Goliath" demo/EP.

CHAOSANCT is:

James McIlroy (ex-CRADLE OF FILTH) - Guitar
Matt C. (ex-BIOMECHANICAL) - Drums
David R. Kuchta - Vocals
[to be announced] - Guitar
Tilman Wolff-Moore (SAMSAS TRAUM) – Bass

The band is currently shopping the demo to interested labels and is hoping to begin work on its debut album during the coming months.
