CHIMAIRA's ANDOLS HERRICK Offers Drumming Tips

October 1, 2010

CHIMAIRA's resident percussionist and drum instructor Andols Herrick has an amazing tool to help drummers become the best at their craft, and that tool is his official web site, AndolsHerrick.com. At the site, fans and percussionists alike can view private lessons, watch video tutorials, and learn more about Herrick's unique style of playing. You can also purchase his tutorial DVD, entitled "New Ideas FOR Metal Drumming", which includes instruction on double-bass beats, time-signature manipulation, and interval exercises for hands.

"Here people will find information on my instructional DVD, private lessons, and personalized video lessons," states Herrick. "There is also instructional material there that shows my take on hand technique, foot technique, and drum setup. Hopefully drummers of all levels, whether you just started playing or have years under your belt, will find the information useful."

Herrick adds, "I started AndolHerrick.com so I could have a centralized place for all of the drumming education I'm involved with. It also will direct fans to my various social networking sites, where I'm able to interact with everyone."

Catch Andols and the rest of CHIMAIRA on stage, headlining SavageFest in Green Bay, Wisconsin on October 9. Other bands scheduled to perform at the festival are SOIL, DIRGE WITHIN and AFTER THE BURIAL.
