CHOSEN SON Signs To ELEVEN MUSIC

May 28, 2008

According to BaltimoreSun.com, FORTY ACRES, the Baltimore, Maryland-based rock band fronted by John Allen, changed its name to CHOSEN SON and signed to Eleven Seven Music last week.

Eleven Seven, a record label run by MTLEY CRE bassist Nikki Sixx, currently represents BUCKCHERRY and DROWNING POOL, among others.

To celebrate, CHOSEN SON is throwing a party Friday (May 30) at the Black Hole Rock Club (216 German Hill Road in Dundalk).

In a recent interview with Billboard, Sixx stated about CHOSEN SUN, "That band to me has that almost adolescent, raw energy that is so missing in a lot of the bands I'm hearing on the radio right now. Hearing them for the first time I went, 'Okay, I want to hear this on the radio,' and I think if I do, a lot of people do. A lot of people I've played songs for say, "Where have these guys been hiding?"
