CIRCLE II CIRCLE Parts Ways With Drummer, Guitarist

December 6, 2009

CIRCLE II CIRCLE — the band led by ex-SAVATAGE singer Zak Stevens — has parted ways with drummer Tom Drennan and has replaced him with Johnny Osborn (X-THIRTIEN, DR. BUTCHER). The group says, "We love Tom and wish him nothing but happiness and success in his future."

CIRCLE II CIRCLE has also decided to carry on as a four-piece. "Bill Hudson [guitar] is no longer with us," the group says. "He is pursuing his own band, WRITTEN IN BLOOD, which is an AMAZING band! Be on the lookout for them.

"There have been rumors of a new guitarist. That is what they are... rumors.

"We are happily moving forward as a four- piece and wish Tom and Bill much luck in their future endeavors."

CIRCLE II CIRCLE will head to Texas for a short weekend run with CAGE and other special guests.

The pairing of CIRCLE II CIRCLE and CAGE brings together two of progressive and power metal's finest acts for these three unique shows. The addition of legendary Texas-based HELSTAR will make the Fort Worth show a very special, one-of-a-kind event not to be missed.

The dates are as follows:

Dec. 10 - Houston, TX @ Fitzgerald's
Dec. 11 - San Antonio, TX @ Zombie's
Dec. 12 - Fort Worth, TX @ Ridglea Theater (w/ HELSTAR)

CIRCLE II CIRCLE will begin recording its fifth album in early 2010 and is featured on the Triton Power Cruise, setting sail April 30, 2010. The band is coming off of a very successful showing at ProgPower USA in Atlanta, Georgia.
