March 20, 2006

CIRCUS DIABLO, the new project featuring THE CULT guitarist Billy Duffy, former THE ALMIGHTY frontman Ricky Warwick and former THE CULT touring bassist Billy Morrison (with help from VELVET REVOLVER drummer Matt Sorum),will be uploading a preview of their cover version of the ADAM AND THE ANTS song "Ants Invasion" to their MySpace.com profile. "The band are all big ADAM AND THE ANTS fans, and recorded the song at Drac Studios in Los Angeles," reads an online posting from CIRCUS DIABLO. "The studio is owned by VELVET REVOLVER drummer Matt Sorum, who also appears on the track, courtesy of RCA Records. The track was engineered by Kevin W Smith and produced by CIRCUS DIABLO."

CIRCUS DIABLO's version of "Ants Invasion" will be included on the band's upcoming debut album, tentatively due later in the year. Plans are being worked out right now for the group to do a small set of dates, both in the U.K. and the U.S., sometime in the next few months.
