CLOUDSCAPE Completes Work On New Album

December 11, 2007

Swedish metallers CLOUDSCAPE have issued the following update:

"The forthcoming third album of CLOUDSCAPE is now recorded, mixed, mastered and ready to go. No release dates and release info are settled yet, but expect these details to be announced sometime during January 2008. Once again artwork wizard Mattias Norén was hired to do the artwork for the booklet and cover. The album was produced by Pontus Lindmark and recorded at RoastingHouse Studios [in Malmö, Sweden]."

CLOUDSCAPE's video for the song "Demon Tears" can be viewed below. The clip was directed, filmed and edited by Rainer Holmgren and was included on the ProgPower UK DVD sampler, which was made available during the ProgPower UK festival on March 31, 2007. 11 actors are featured in the video, including Andy Pierce, who is the lead singer in the Swedish glam rock band NASTY IDOLS. Director Rainer Holmgren also appears in the clip in a boxing match scene.

"Demon Tears" comes off CLOUDSCAPE's sophomore album, "Crimson Skies", which was released in the U.S. in July 2006 via Nightmare Records. Artwork for the album was created by Mattias Norén.
