COFFIN TEXTS Rejoined By Drummer MARCE CASTRO

Los Angeles-based death metallers COFFIN TEXTS have been rejoined by drummer Marce Castro. "The [first] rehearsal [with Marce back in the group] went very well and takes me back to the day we first started, fired up for deathgrind," commented vocalist Robert Cardenas. "We want to thank Ariel Alvarado for his help the last 2 1/2 years & wish him the best of luck."

As previously reported, COFFIN TEXTS' new album, "Tomb of Infinite Ritual", is scheduled for release in September through Morbid Records (Germany). The CD will be recorded at Injected Senses Studio in Temecula, CA with producer Gary Miranda.

COFFIN TEXTS have been confirmed for this year's Gathering of the Bestial Legion festival, set to take place June 26, 2004 at the Knitting Factory in N. Hollywood, CA. Other bands set to appear include SADISTIC INTENT, DARK FUNERAL and ANAL BLAST.
